Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I'm the face (and the hand) behind Elizabeth Jordan Calligraphy. I'm originally from St. Louis (shoutout to the Midwest and the Cardinals!) and went to college in Washington DC. I moved to New York City for my day job after graduation and it's been my home for the past 4 years.

Modern calligraphy started out as a hobby after I ran across a few accounts on Instagram and thought it looked fun. I've always been obsessed with fonts and handwriting, so I decided to give calligraphy a try! I worked on it for a few months before starting my Instagram, and now there's no looking back. When I'm not doing calligraphy, you can find me eating ice cream, taking pictures of my dog, attempting to run/work out, or drinking an Aperol Spritz.
